“Nora is not only an incredibly competent vocalist in her own right, but also a superb teacher. She has a warm and personable demeanor while also being professional. She works with what her students are most passionate about singing or playing and takes a holistic approach for using one’s instrument – I definitely wasn’t expecting to stretch or learn about the anatomy of the throat at the beginning, but it has factored into my technique improving dramatically.”

Summer Programs Coordinator
Georgian Choir Director
Ear Training & Songwriting

“As an educator, my goal is for students to experience self-discovery and find new meaning in their work. My teaching is a mix of guided experimentation, standard techniques for producing sound and creating harmonies, quick fixes, and improvisation exercises. These practices teach us to approach music without fear, value our own creativity, and find meaning in the ways we relate to each other and the world.
