Join WTMA in a Sunday afternoon of song, festivity, and culture in our global music and dance seminar.

Featured will be our teacher Lina Malshy with her experienced work in Palestinian music, rhythms, dance, and cultural history.

Our WTMA faculty will also be presenting Cuban music and grooves, a gender-affirming voice class, and a Georgian Choir workshop.

We will start the afternoon with a YogaVoice vinyasa. The evening will conclude with an open-mic jam of the wonderful things our students learned from our clinicians!

12-12:30 PM: Welcome and YogaVoice Vinyasa

12:30-1:30 PM: Intro to Cuban Music – Salsa moves and jam session

1:30-2:30 PM: Georgian Choir Workshop

2:30-2:45 PM: Brief break

2:45-3:30 PM: Gender-affirming voice class

3:30-4:00 PM: Palestinian Music and Culture Presentation

4:00-5:30 PM: Intro to Arabic Maqamat, Iqa’at, and Dabke

5:30-6:00 PM: Break and sound check (TBD)

6:00-8:00 PM: Music & Dance Performance, followed by Open Mic & Potluck
